Compassion Ministry

We believe the heart of God is for us to represent Him in this

world, to demonstrate that God is good by acts of mercy and

"A job is at your choice; a ministry is at Christ's call.

In a job you expect to receive; in a ministry you expect to give.

In a job you give something to get something; in a ministry you

return something that has already been given to you.

A job depends on your abilities; a ministry depends on your

availability to God.

A job done well brings you praise; a ministry done well  brings

honor to Christ."  -James N. Spurgeon

We know that His heart is moved with compassion toward the

lowliest, poorest, and neediest of this world and that He would

have us show the world what Jesus is like by the way we love. How

else will they who have never heard about Jesus know that He is

Many people who experience God's love and
compassion through

His children are attracted to Jesus and want to come to know Him.

Matthew 25:37-40, "Then the righteous will answer Him

saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you,

or thirsty and give you drink? ...

And the king will answer and say unto them, 'Assuredly, I

say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of

these my brethren, you did it to me'. "

I John 3:17,
" But whoever has this world's goods, and

sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from

him, how does the love of God abide in him?"

James 2: 15-18,
"If a brother or sister is naked and

destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them,

'Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,' but you do not

give them the things which are needed for the body, what

does it profit? Thus also, faith by itself, if it does not have

works, is dead. But someone will say, 'You have faith and

I have works." Show me your faith without your

works, and I will show you my faith by my works."
